Why You'll Want This Again
Kitchen Advice
- Pat the salmon dry before seasoning to help the spices stick better.
- Check the salmon a minute or two before the suggested time to avoid overcooking.
Directions
Preheat your air fryer to 330°F (165°C) on the fish setting for a couple of minutes. While that’s warming up, mix together the steak seasoning, brown sugar, cumin, coriander, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Sprinkle about 2 teaspoons of this spice blend over each salmon fillet—feel free to add more if you like a little extra heat. Place the salmon fillets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You might need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Cook the salmon until it flakes easily with a fork, which usually takes around 18 minutes. Once done, transfer the salmon to a plate and keep it warm in the oven set to the lowest temperature. Repeat with any remaining fillets, then serve right away and enjoy!
