Why This Recipe Is So Good
Pro Kitchen Tips
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking and help crisp the edges.
- Let the meatloaves rest for a few minutes after cooking to keep them juicy and easier to slice.
Step 1
Preheat your air fryer to 355°F (180°C). In a bowl, mix together the ground sirloin, 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce, chopped onion, oats, Italian seasoning, parsley, salt, and pepper until everything is just combined. Shape the mixture into two small loaves, about 4 1/2 inches long and 2 inches wide each.
Step 2
Spray the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray to prevent sticking. Place the two mini meatloaves in the basket, making sure they don’t touch. Brush the tops with the remaining tablespoon of tomato sauce for a little extra flavor.
Step 3
Cook them in the air fryer for about 17 to 20 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted in the center reads 165°F (73°C). Once done, let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
