Why This Recipe Is So Popular
Pro Kitchen Tips
- Roast at a high temperature to get crispy edges and tender centers.
- Toss the broccoli halfway through cooking for an even roast and coating.
Directions
Warm your oven to 475°F (245°C). In a small bowl, mix together some olive oil and minced garlic. Cut the broccoli into florets, making sure to leave a couple of inches of stem on each piece. Spread the broccoli out on a rimmed baking sheet, then drizzle the garlic oil over it. Give everything a good toss so the broccoli is nicely coated, and season with salt and pepper. Pop the tray in the oven and roast for about 7 to 9 minutes, turning the broccoli halfway through, until it’s tender and has some nice charred edges. Once it’s done, transfer the broccoli to a serving dish and drizzle with a splash of balsamic vinegar. Enjoy!
