Why This Dish Is Worth Trying
Expert Cooking Tips
- Cut larger sprouts in half to ensure even cooking.
- Use high heat to get a nice caramelized exterior without overcooking the inside.
Directions
Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Toss the Brussels sprouts into a casserole dish or a Dutch oven with a lid. Dot the top with pieces of butter, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and a splash of lemon juice. Cover it up and pop it in the oven. Let it bake for about 25 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking and help everything cook evenly. When you have about 10 minutes left, take off the lid and sprinkle the pine nuts over the sprouts so they toast nicely. Once the sprouts are tender and cooked through, take them out and crumble some blue cheese on top before serving. Enjoy!
