Why This Dish Is So Satisfying
Quick Kitchen Tips
- Warm the dip slowly to prevent the cheese from separating.
- Stir occasionally while heating to keep the texture smooth and creamy.
Directions
Heat your oven to 325°F (165°C). In a bowl, mix together the cream cheese, half a cup of Parmesan, hot sauce, seafood seasoning, garlic powder, and a pinch of black pepper until everything is well combined. Drain the crab carefully, picking out any shells you find, then fold the crab into the cream cheese mixture along with the chopped bell peppers and onion. Spread the mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the top. Pop it in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes, until it’s hot and bubbly. For a golden, crispy top, switch your oven to broil and let it brown for another 5 minutes or so—just keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn.
