Why This Recipe Is So Enjoyable
Tips For Better Flavor
- Chill the tomatoes before serving to keep them refreshing.
- Add a sprinkle of sea salt just before serving to enhance the flavors.
Step 1
Cut off the top quarter of each tomato. If the tomatoes are a bit wobbly, trim a tiny slice off the bottom so they can stand up straight. Use a small spoon—like a baby spoon or grapefruit spoon—to gently scoop out the pulp. Once hollowed out, place the tomatoes cut-side down on some paper towels to drain any extra juice.
Step 2
Mix together the salad dressing, bacon bits, chopped green onions, Parmesan cheese, and parsley in a bowl until everything is well combined. Carefully fill each tomato with the mixture, making sure they're nicely packed. Cover the tomatoes and pop them in the fridge to chill until you’re ready to serve.
