Why This Dish Is A Crowd Favorite
Tips For Better Flavor
- Avoid over-mixing the meat to keep the patties tender.
- Cook on medium heat to ensure the patties are cooked through without burning.
Step 1
Break the bread slices into a food processor and pulse them until you get fine breadcrumbs. Transfer these to a bowl and set aside.
Step 2
Add the chicken to the processor along with salt, pepper, paprika, oregano, cumin powder, and chili flakes. Take two bread slices, soak them in water for a few seconds, squeeze out the excess water, and add them to the chicken mixture. Blend everything until well combined.
Step 3
Scoop out a small amount of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Then, coat the ball in the breadcrumbs you prepared earlier and gently flatten it into a patty shape.
Step 4
Beat the eggs in a bowl. Dip each patty into the egg mixture, making sure it’s fully coated.
Step 5
Heat some oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the patties until they’re golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
Step 6
Remove the patties from the pan and let them drain on paper towels for a minute. Serve them hot and enjoy!
