Best Cooking Tips
- Shake the basket halfway through cooking to help fries crisp up on all sides.
- Lightly toss the fries in oil before air frying to get the best texture.
Directions
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. While it’s warming up, give the basket a quick spray with some cooking spray so the fries don’t stick. In a big bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with avocado oil until they’re nicely coated. Sprinkle on the chili-lime seasoning, about 1 1/2 teaspoons, and mix everything together so the fries are evenly seasoned. Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer—do it in batches if you need to so they cook evenly. Cook them for 8 to 9 minutes, shaking the basket and turning the fries halfway through to get them crispy all over. While the fries are cooking, whisk together some mayonnaise, lime juice, and a bit of the chili-lime seasoning to make a tasty dipping sauce. Once the fries are golden and crispy, serve them up with the sauce and some fresh lime wedges on the side.
