Why This Meal Is A Winner
Better Cooking Tips
- Use a grill basket to prevent the wings from falling through the grates.
- Keep an eye on the wings while cooking to avoid burning the spicy sauce.
Step 1
In a bowl, toss the chicken wings with pepper, salt, chili flakes, egg, and cornflour. Let them marinate for about 30 minutes.
Step 2
Heat some oil in a pan and fry the wings until they’re golden and crispy. Once cooked, set them aside.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, vinegar, soy sauce, chili sauce, BBQ sauce, oregano, Kashmiri chili powder, and a little water. Set this sauce aside.
Step 4
In a pan, heat a bit of oil and sauté the chopped garlic for about a minute. Pour in the sauce mixture along with 1/3 cup of water and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5
Mix 1 tablespoon of cornflour with 1/4 cup of water until smooth, then stir it into the sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Step 6
Add the fried wings to the sauce and toss everything well to coat.
Step 7
Finish by sprinkling chopped spring onions and white sesame seeds over the wings, give it one last mix, and you’re ready to serve!
