Why This Dish Is So Special
Pro Cooking Tips
- Use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F for safe eating.
- Marinate the wings for at least an hour to let the flavors fully develop.
Step 1
Toss the chicken wings in a big bowl with chili flakes, cumin, chili powder, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, chili sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar. Give everything a good mix so the wings are fully coated. Cover the bowl and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, or even overnight if you have time for extra flavor.
Step 2
Pour some all-purpose flour into another bowl. Take each wing and coat it in the flour, then dip it quickly into cold water. After that, roll it in the flour again to get a nice, crispy coating. Shake off any extra flour before frying.
Step 3
Heat enough oil in a deep pan for frying. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the wings and fry them until they’re golden brown and crispy all over.
Step 4
Use a slotted spoon to take the wings out and let them drain on some paper towels. Serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
