Why This Dish Is So Satisfying
Helpful Cooking Tips
- Preheat the grill to medium heat to cook the chicken evenly without burning.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F for safe eating.
Step 1
Place the chicken drumsticks in a pan. Add enough water to cover them and a pinch of salt. Cover and let them cook for about 10-12 minutes. Once they’re done, drain the water and set the chicken aside.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine crushed coriander seeds, tikka masala, chili flakes, pepper, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, lemon juice, and yogurt. Give it a good mix until everything is well blended.
Step 3
Coat the chicken drumsticks thoroughly with this spice and yogurt mixture. Make sure each piece is nicely covered. Let them marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours to soak up all the flavors.
Step 4
When ready, heat a little oil in a grill pan over medium heat. Grill the drumsticks until they turn a lovely golden brown and are cooked through.
Step 5
Serve hot with your favorite sauce on the side and enjoy!
