What Makes This Recipe Special
Kitchen Tips
- Use a hot skillet to get a nice sear and caramelization on the chicken and vegetables.
- Warm the tortillas before serving to make them soft and pliable.
Step 1
Slice the chicken breast and onion into thin strips.
Step 2
Mix together your taco seasoning in a small bowl.
Step 3
Toss the chicken with the seasoning and a tablespoon of oil, making sure it’s well coated.
Step 4
Sprinkle some of the taco seasoning over the sliced onions and give them a good mix.
Step 5
Heat a little oil in a pan over medium heat, then cook the chicken until it’s nice and golden. Add the onions and sliced capsicum, stir everything together, and cook for another 2-3 minutes before turning off the heat.
Step 6
Warm up your tortilla wraps, then spread some tomato ketchup on each one. Layer with lettuce, the cooked chicken mixture, and top with cucumber and tomato slices.
Step 7
Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a fresh squeeze of juice.
