Why This Recipe Is So Easy To Love
Helpful Cooking Tips
- Make sure to dry the potato slices well to get them extra crispy.
- Fry in hot oil but not too hot, around 350°F (175°C), to avoid burning.
Step 1
Mash the boiled potatoes in a big bowl. Toss in the chopped onion, chillies, chilli sauce, soya sauce, garlic powder, salt, chilli flakes, pepper, and coriander leaves. Give everything a good mix.
Step 2
Crack in the eggs and sprinkle the cornflour. Stir it all together until the mixture is smooth but still a little thick.
Step 3
Spoon the mixture into a piping bag fitted with a round tip.
Step 4
Heat some oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Once hot, pipe the mixture into spiral shapes, like little jalebis, making 2 or 3 circles at a time.
Step 5
Fry them gently until they turn a lovely light golden brown, then remove and drain on paper towels.
Step 6
Serve them warm with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!
