Why You'll Want This Again
Helpful Tips For Cooking
- Use a high-speed blender to get the best texture.
- Strain the milk through a nut milk bag or fine mesh sieve for a silky finish.
Directions
Mix the oats, almonds, and cashews in a large bowl, then cover them with 2 cups of filtered water. Pop the bowl in the fridge and let everything soak for at least 8 hours, or overnight if you can. When you’re ready, take the bowl out and stir in the flax seeds. Let the mixture sit at room temperature for about an hour so the flax seeds can thicken things up a bit. Next, pour everything into your blender and blend until it’s smooth and creamy. Give it a quick rest for about 5 minutes, then add the remaining 2 cups of filtered water. Blend again until it’s well combined and silky. Finally, strain the milk through a fine-mesh sieve to get rid of any pulp. You can enjoy it right away or keep it in the fridge for up to a week. Just remember to shake it well before using!
