Why This Recipe Stands Out
Best Cooking Tips
- Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes to let the spices fully absorb.
- Cook the chicken over medium heat to keep it juicy and tender.
Step 1
In a bowl, combine the chicken with salt, pepper, cornflour, and an egg. Give it a good mix and let it marinate for about an hour.
Step 2
Heat up about 2 cups of oil in a pan. When it’s hot, fry the chicken pieces until they turn golden brown and crispy. Once done, take the chicken out and set it aside.
Step 3
Carefully pour out about 1½ cups of the oil from the pan, leaving some behind for cooking.
Step 4
Put the fried chicken back into the pan.
Step 5
Add the barbecue sauce, soy sauce, fresh ginger, and chilies. Stir everything together and let it cook for a minute or two so the flavors blend.
Step 6
Once it’s all heated through and smells amazing, it’s ready to serve. Enjoy!
