Why You'll Want This Again
Pro Kitchen Tips
- Let the meat rest after cooking to keep it tender.
- Deglaze the pan with wine to capture all the flavorful bits for the glaze.
Step 1
Sprinkl the pork chops evenly with the ranch dressing mix. Heat some butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add the chops and cook them for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side, until they develop a nice brown crust. Then, turn the heat down to medium and keep cooking, flipping now and then, until the pork is just slightly pink in the center—this should take around 8 to 10 minutes. You can check with a meat thermometer; it should read 145°F (63°C).
Step 2
Once they’re done, transfer the chops to a warm plate. Leave about a tablespoon of the fat in the pan, then pour in the broth, wine, and lemon juice. Bring everything to a boil, scraping up those tasty browned bits stuck to the bottom with a wooden spoon. Let the sauce simmer until it thickens to your liking. Finally, spoon the sauce over the chops and enjoy!
