Tips To Improve This Recipe
- Cook slowly over low heat to develop deep flavors without drying out the meat.
- Season gradually and taste as you go to balance the spices perfectly.
Directions
Put the ground turkey, 1 cup of water, chopped onion, cloves, sage, and cinnamon into a saucepan. Bring everything to a boil, then lower the heat and let it simmer gently for about 45 minutes. Every now and then, use a spatula to mash the mixture as it cooks. Once it's done, take the pan off the heat. In a separate bowl, mix the gelatin with the remaining 1/2 cup of water until it dissolves. Stir this into the turkey mixture. Pour everything into a small container and pop it in the fridge for about an hour, until it’s nicely chilled and set.
