Why This Recipe Is So Loved
Cooking Tips
- Chill the dip for at least an hour before serving to let the flavors meld together.
- Add a little lemon juice if the dip tastes too rich or heavy.
Step 1
Put the ruby cacao wafers in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat them in short bursts of about 20 seconds, stirring in between, until they're completely melted and smooth. Next, mix the melted wafers with the cream cheese in a bowl. Use an electric mixer to beat everything together until it’s well combined and creamy. Spoon this mixture into a serving bowl.
Step 2
Now, split the marshmallow creme into two smaller bowls. Add a few drops (around 3 to 5) of neon blue food coloring to one bowl and neon purple to the other. Stir each until the colors are fully blended and vibrant.
Step 3
Spoon a dollop of the blue marshmallow creme and one of the purple onto the cream cheese mixture. Grab a knife and gently swirl the colors through the cream cheese and each other to create a pretty marbled effect. Sprinkle rainbow sprinkles over half of the dip, then add a stripe of yellow sprinkles down the center. This dip is perfect for scooping with graham crackers and apple slices—enjoy!
