Why This Recipe Is So Easy To Love
Helpful Cooking Tips
- Let the rice rest for 5-10 minutes after baking to absorb any remaining moisture.
- Rinse the rice well before cooking to remove excess starch and prevent clumping.
Directions
Gently heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a saucepan, bring the water and olive oil to a boil and add a pinch of salt. Meanwhile, spread the rice evenly in a 9x13-inch baking dish. Pour the boiling water mixture over the rice, then cover the dish tightly with two layers of aluminum foil to keep the steam in. Pop it in the oven and let it bake for about an hour, or until the water is fully absorbed. When it’s done, take it out and carefully remove the foil. Fluff the rice gently with a fork, then cover it with paper towels for about five minutes to soak up any extra steam. Finally, uncover and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
