Directions
Gently heat your oven to 425°F (220°C). While it’s warming up, lay the tomato slices on some paper towels to soak up any extra moisture. Place your pizza crust on a baking sheet or baking steel, then spread the pizza sauce evenly over it. Sprinkle a generous layer of shredded mozzarella, followed by the tomato slices and chunks of fresh mozzarella. Scatter the chicken sausage pieces on top, and dollop spoonfuls of pesto all over the pizza. Pop it in the oven and bake until the cheese is bubbly and the crust turns golden brown, about 12 to 15 minutes. Once it’s out of the oven, tear fresh basil leaves over the top right away and enjoy!
