Simple Cooking Tips
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the wings reach 165°F for safe eating.
- Toss the wings in sauce immediately after cooking for the best coating.
Step 1
Put the wings in a glass or plastic bowl, then pour the hot sauce over them. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and pop it in the fridge. Let the wings marinate for at least 2 hours, but if you have more time, leaving them up to 12 hours will make them even better. Remember to give them a good stir every now and then so they soak up all that sauce.
Step 2
When you’re ready to cook, heat up your grill to medium-high and brush the grate with a little oil to keep the wings from sticking. Place the wings on the grill and cook them for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally and basting with any leftover marinade to keep them flavorful. Keep grilling and turning the wings until they’re nicely browned and cooked through—this should take another 5 to 7 minutes. Make sure the chicken is no longer pink inside before serving.
