Cooking Advice
- Cook the salmon skin-side down first to get a crispy finish.
- Brush the honey glaze on during the last few minutes of cooking to avoid burning.
Step 1
Lightly heat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet. Lay the salmon fillets skin-side down on the sheet and poke a few holes in them with a fork. Sprinkle some black pepper over the top.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a small pan over low heat. Stir in the olive oil, white cooking wine, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, onion salt, mustard, and a dash of hot pepper sauce. Let this mixture warm through for about five minutes.
Step 3
Brush the buttery glaze generously over the salmon, making sure each piece is well coated. Pop the salmon in the oven and every five minutes, give it another good brush with the glaze.
Step 4
After about 15 minutes, the salmon should flake easily when you test it with a fork. Now, drizzle honey over each fillet and return them to the oven for another 3 to 5 minutes to get that beautiful, sticky glaze. Once done, they’re ready to serve!
