- 4 slices lightly toasted bread, divided

- 1 tomato, sliced

Step 1
Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Turn it every now and then until it’s nice and crispy, which should take about 10 minutes. Once done, transfer the bacon to a paper towel to soak up the extra grease.

Spread a tablespoon of basil pesto on one slice of toasted bread. Layer on some fresh tomato slices and then add three pieces of the crispy bacon. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper over the top to bring out the flavors.
