What Makes This Recipe Special
Kitchen Tricks
- For extra creaminess, blend the soup thoroughly before serving.
- Add a pinch of nutmeg or smoked paprika for a subtle depth of flavor.
Step 1
Put the cauliflower and water in a saucepan over medium-high heat and bring it to a boil. Once it’s boiling, take it off the heat and set it aside for a moment.
Step 2
Turn your slow cooker on to Low and pour in the cauliflower along with the water you boiled it in. Add the processed American cheese spread and cream cheese, stirring everything together until the cheeses have melted and are well combined with the cauliflower.
Step 3
Sprinkle in the potato flakes and minced garlic, then give it all a good stir. Season with some salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Cover the slow cooker and let it cook on Low for about 2 to 3 hours, until everything is nice and creamy and the flavors have melded together.
