Cooking Pointers
- Cook the flatbreads on medium heat to ensure they cook through without burning.
- Let the dough rest for a few minutes before rolling to make it easier to handle and stretch.
Step 1
Heat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lining a baking sheet with foil. Cook the bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat, turning it now and then, until it’s nice and crispy—this should take about 10 minutes. Once done, drain the bacon on paper towels and crumble it once it cools a bit.
Step 2
Lay out the naan flatbreads on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle half of the Gruyere cheese over each one, leaving a small border around the edges. Add the blue cheese and red onion on top.
Step 3
Pop the flatbreads into the oven and bake until they start to brown, about 7 to 9 minutes. Take them out, then scatter the blueberries, crumbled bacon, and the rest of the Gruyere over the top. Return them to the oven for another couple of minutes until the cheese melts and the flatbreads turn a lovely golden color.
Step 4
Finish by garnishing with fresh basil slices and a sprinkle of black pepper. Serve right away and enjoy!
