Why This Recipe Is So Easy To Love
Helpful Chef Tips
- Use good quality feta for a richer, tangier taste.
- Let the bake rest for a few minutes after cooking to help it set and make slicing easier.
Directions
Lightly heat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a big bowl, toss together the spinach, feta, mozzarella, processed cheese food, half of the butter, vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until everything is nicely combined. Lightly grease a 2-quart casserole dish and lay down a sheet of phyllo dough. Spread the spinach and cheese mixture over it, then top with four more layers of phyllo, spraying each one with butter-flavored cooking spray as you go. Drizzle the rest of the melted butter over the top to get a nice, golden finish. Pop it in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes until it’s bubbly and golden on top. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
