Ingredients
- 1 ½ teaspoons cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 slice applewood-smoked bacon
Why This Dish Is Amazing
Chef Tips
- Cook bacon slowly over medium heat to avoid burning and to get even crispiness.
- Drain cooked bacon on paper towels to remove excess grease before assembling.
Directions
Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with some aluminum foil to make cleanup easier. In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese and brown sugar until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over each slice of bacon. Then, roll up the bacon slices and place them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Pop them into the oven and bake for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until the bacon is nice and crispy. Keep an eye on them so they don’t burn. Once done, let them cool for a minute before serving.
