Why This Meal Is A Winner
Chef Tips
- Press the mixture firmly into the pan to help the bars hold together well.
- Chill the bars thoroughly before cutting to prevent them from crumbling.
Directions
Combin the granola, bran cereal, dry milk, cranberries, sunflower seeds, almonds, raisins, and flax seeds in a big bowl. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the honey, brown sugar, and salt to a boil. Once it’s bubbling, take the pan off the heat and stir in the peanut butter and vanilla until everything melts together and looks smooth. Pour this warm mixture over the dry ingredients and mix it all up until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into a 9x13-inch pan lined with parchment or wax paper. Pop it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to set before slicing into bars.
