Why You'll Want This Again
Pro Cooking Tips
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F for safety.
- Let the patties rest a few minutes after cooking to lock in the juices.
Step 1
Mix together the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped almonds, chili paste, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, garam masala, lemon juice, yogurt, and chopped cilantro. Use a spatula or your hands to combine everything really well. Once it’s all mixed, shape the mixture into one big ball and then divide it into four equal portions. Pop those in the fridge for about an hour to help them hold their shape.
Step 2
After chilling, take each portion and gently form it into a patty using damp hands so the mixture doesn’t stick. Meanwhile, get your grill heating up to medium. Keep the patties in the fridge until the grill is ready.
Step 3
When the grill is hot, place the patties on and cook them until you see the edges start to turn opaque about halfway up the side—this usually takes a few minutes. Flip them over and grill for another 4 to 5 minutes on the other side. You'll know they’re done when the surface looks a bit cracked and you see juices starting to pool on top. Enjoy!
