Why This Recipe Works
Kitchen Tricks
- Shred the chicken while it’s still warm for the best texture.
- Add a squeeze of lime or a sprinkle of fresh herbs for extra brightness.
Step 1
Lightly heat some oil in a pan. Sauté chopped onions and ginger-garlic paste until they turn light brown. Then add the shredded chicken along with salt, chili powder, pepper, cumin, tikka masala, and turmeric. Stir everything well and cook for a couple of minutes. Once done, set it aside.
Step 2
Make the mint yogurt sauce. Blend together yogurt, mayonnaise, green chilies, garlic, fresh coriander, mint leaves, lemon juice, red chili powder, and a pinch of salt until smooth. Keep this aside.
Step 3
Heat oil in a pan and fry the potato fries on medium-low heat until they’re golden and crispy. Drain them on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Step 4
To assemble, spread a good layer of the mint yogurt sauce over a crispy lacha paratha. Add some fresh lettuce, a generous amount of the spiced chicken, more sauce, and a handful of fries.
Step 5
Roll it all up snugly and enjoy! Serve with extra sauce and fries on the side for dipping.
